Joe suffered a fractured skull at the age of 14. After being dropped from his father’s insurance when he turned 21, Joe had no case manager until the age of 31. Joe’s mother fought with the insurance company to get his claim reopened during that time, to no avail.
Challenge:
Although his injury had been diagnosed, Joe was not receiving the proper treatment, leaving him frustrated, angry and unable to cope. Both Joe and his mother were overwhelmed and exhausted.
